Review: Bourjois magic nail polish remover

After Superdrug being sold out I managed to get the last one in Boots for £4.99 and they had an offer on Bourjois for buy 1 get the 2nd half price so I got a nail varnish, as unfortunately I couldn't get two of these :( (you can see the nail varnish at the bottom of this post)

I keep going on about how amazing it is, but seriously this is the best beauty product I have ever tried. Definitely a miracle product!
I will be buying this over and over again.

It takes about 2-3 seconds instead of the 1 second it claims but it's still extremely fast, it saves so much time and so many cotton pads - I was amazed :P

I had to remove glitter nail varnish with a cotton pad as it was taking ages in the pot - but this is the only downside!
This will be perfect to keep in my bag when I'm travelling/on holiday. It leave your fingers greasy afterwards but it's much better than other nail varnish removers solutions such as quickies pads.
It also smells quite nice! (Red fruit and Vanilla fragrance)

My nail varnish!
I just put this on and the brush is angled making it so easy to apply and less messier than my other nail varnishes! Let's see if it does last 10 days without chipping...review to follow.

Bobbi Brown: Luminous moisturising foundation

£29

My mum bought this last month and I tried it out a couple of times to see if Bobbi Brown is really worth the money.
Like with MAC, I wasn't too impressed with the foundation.
It gives a medium coverage, which is fair enough if this is what you are looking for, but I prefer full coverage. Once putting on, I noticed the places I wanted to cover most - spots and blemishes - were still clearly visible. It made me feel like I wasn't even wearing a foundation.
I found it very watery and isn't luminous like it is meant to be!
I wouldn't recommend this foundation if you are looking for something to be luminous with full coverage and I don't think it's worth £29!

What are your thoughts on Bobbi Brown?

A day in London Town

I went to London for my cousins surprise 30th birthday on Saturday and my dad (surprisingly more than me) really wanted to go to Primark Oxford Street. So I couldn't resist buying...
I love their nail varnish display and after trying the nail varnishes in Primark before, I was pleased with how good they are for £2.50
(ignore the £50 rubber haha)
You only need one coat, it dries really quickly and the varnish is very bright and doesn't chip easily.
After, I saw all the Essie nail varnishes in Superdrug, I was so tempted! But for £7.99 I might give it a miss...for now.

This is a similar style to a dress I want in Topshop and ASOS but for a lot cheaper
£13

I love maxi skirts!
£10

Loving the new 'naked apple' Kopparberg
Having a drink at St Christophers place

Surprise trip!

As we both finished our first year of uni my boyfriend was so sweet and booked me a surprise trip. I had no idea where I would be going and didn't expect we'd be driving about 200 miles!

First we stopped off at my uni to hand in the rest of my work and about three hours later we finally reached Derby :) I've never been before and I really liked it there! Our hotel was right opposite Westfield haha :')

The next day I went on another mystery drive but the sign posts gave it away about 30 minutes before we got there - Alton Towers. Apparently I've been hinting loads that I've always wanted to go there, oops!

I didn't buy anything at Westfield really apart from the body shop stuff below, I wanted to buy everything!

I got the chocolate lip butter, shower gel and satsuma shower gel (rest is my boyfriends)

Hilton! eee :D

Free Nandos whole chicken!

Soaked from the earlier water rides (which my hair got all caught in and I had to get helped out oopsie!)

The long drive back!

We wanted to have this lorry haha!

A very flattering photo of me ;)
It's been so warm the past week, brought out the maxi skirt finally!

We later realised we had been very naive about the whole duck drowning situation, eeek...
